Joy Hansen paints landscapes in acrylics and mixed media.

Joy was creative from a young age and continued to draw throughout her teenage years, mostly pencil work of animals and nature, paying close attention to details.

In 2014 Joy was given the opportunity to teach drawing and painting to others.  She taught children, adults and the elderly, helping others to find confidence and joy in drawing and painting.

It was not until 2018 that she broke away from teaching to pursue her own interests.
Joy has developed a love for colour, and is now exploring more expressive and intuitive techniques.
