Group Painting Evening 17th January 2024

On a fun evening in January members gathered in the Octagonal Hall at Alloway to paint in pairs.

Workstations were set up with canvas brushes and paints and a resource picture for artists to refer to. Members were paired up with each pair starting to paint from the resource. After five minutes, artists had to put down the brushes they were using and move on as a pair to the next painting which had already been started. By the end, each canvas had been painted on by sixteen artists.

The results were amazing and will be exhibited at the Cutty Sark exhibition in June. The Organizers provided snacks and soft drinks and the evening was a lot of fun.
