Elaine Johnston is one of our favourite artists. She visited us on the 8th May, to show us one of her techniques for painting eyes - all done swiftly and effortlessly using an old sock and wet-wipes, followed by just a few brush strokes.  

In moments between as the paint was drying a little, she whipped off a soaring eagle in her inimical style painting darkly on a black background with her trade mark colour splashes -plus a pastel eye and a pen drawn eye where the pen hardly left the canvas.  

Elaine has such fluent talent and is a motivational person to be with and we all enjoyed the evening.
