Debbie Cassels came to the Ayr Art Circle from her delightful studio in Ballantrae to demonstrate her take on paint colour mixing.

She expertly demonstrated the use of a restricted range of colours to mix all the colours an artist might need, with emphasis on warm and cool alternatives. She left the club members with a range of colour charts that she had developed for them. She also demonstrated how to mix a variety of greys.

She received warm applause for her work and preparation.
