David Reid-Portrait Artist  demo and workshop

David is renowned for his portrait painting abilities and visited the Ayr Art Circle to demonstrate his technique.

He chose the face of a young lad to paint using only five colours. We all sat captivated as we watched the face at first outlined and then gradually come to life during the demonstration.

David happily answered many questions and talked about his painting experiences.
