Model Class with Bobby Johnson November 2024

The club took over the Octagonal Hall in Alloway for two afternoons in November for a tutored class on model painting.

On Thursday 14th November2024, the Art Circle held the first of two model painting workshops in the Alloway Church Halls tutored by Bobby Johnston.   For this workshop the model was a highland piper in full regalia.  Over four 20 minute sessions the model held the same pose as the class endeavoured to draw/paint him.   Most students took photos home with them to finish the work.  Jackie Ridge chose to treat this as a portrait opportunity and we have a picture of her initial work.
