Anne Hamilton
Biography

Anne Hamilton uses acrylics and watercolours to paint landscapes.

Anne’s working life was in the area of mental health, where she saw the therapeutic benefits of involvement by her patients in expressing their emotions through art, which complemented her own interest in painting. Since retirement she has become seriously involved in her own painting and has exhibited at several local exhibitions as well as working on a commission basis.

Her paintings can be of an abstract nature or a combination with more recognisable features such as seascapes, rockscapes or variations motivated by the breathtaking scenery in Scotland.  Her aim is to communicate with her audience through dynamic calligraphic art.
